What we're aiming for

The Molonglo Valley Gospel Community is a new church meeting in Denman Prospect. We believe that God loves the Molonglo Valley and we want to share that love in our words and our actions. We also believe that life is better knowing God and we want to provide safe spaces where people can explore faith, purpose and meaning. Whether you’re religious or sceptical, if you’re someone who’s known God for a long time or someone who’s got more questions than answers, you’re welcome. You might join in with us every week, or just come along and chat at events. We’re part of the Lutheran tradition within Christianity, which emphasises that our relationship with God isn’t something we need to earn or achieve, but is a gift of God through Jesus Christ. The Molonglo Valley Gospel Community is a ministry of Immanuel Woden Valley Lutheran Church and supported by the Lutheran Church of Australia. For Christians (and others) who want to know more about our theology and what we’re about, you can read our Statement of Commitment.

You’re invited to join a monthly low-key Christian worship gathering at the Denman Prospect Community Centre. We meet on Sundays at 11am, sing and pray together, hear a message based on a Bible text, and share the bread and wine of Communion (The Lord’s Supper / Eucharist).
